    Type: AUD, REG,BEC,FAR

I agree that it is depending on the person’t ability. One thing I noticed while studying is I can handle numbers more than words. Sometimes wordings in AUD makes me so much confused. If I can calculate, I will have chance to get the correct answers so I think AUD is the most difficult even though I will switch to my career to audting after passing all exam.

The level of difficulty of the exams is relative and it appears to be like most of mine: crazy, mean and probably drunk!

FAR is by far (haha) the hardest for me. AUD was a little difficult, but I got out of it okay. I'm not much of a conceptual thinker, though I've gotten a lot better at it by studying for these exams! It's a little early to see how BEC is going to go, but I think I'll be okay there. I'm actually looking forward to studying for REG, and I have a feeling that one will be the easiest for me. I've been working in tax for about 7 years now, and I really like it! Business law fascinates me as well. 🙂

@NYCaccountant I use Becker self study. Hopefully my exam is of the same or easier level.

    REG 2/26/14 - 90
    BEC 4/08/14 - 92
    FAR 5/31/14 - 90
    AUD 7/09/14 -

@Aguirre81 – Haha, I'm definitely not going to take it lightly! I find I do well on topics about which I'm actually interested in learning, so I think the experience will be a bit better than FAR (I absolutely do not care about accounting for stock subscriptions. I just don't!!).

Congrats on finishing up last quarter!! 🙂

BEC is not hard to study for, it's just you might have a bunch of stuff not covered in your review course, or questions where the answer is not there. Worst testing experience by far for me, but I passed.

    AUD - 99
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    NYC born and raised.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

Hardest to easiest: FAR, REG, BEC and AUD

Order I'm taking them: FAR, BEC, REG and AUD.

I was halfway through the AUD lectures before I got my 72 on REG and AUD felt easier. Fingers crossed I knock out REG in July and AUD in August.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

FAR was by far the hardest exam, both in volume and material. I had a tough time when studying for AUD, but exam turned out to be much easier than Becker questions. I enjoyed REG since the contents covered were more enjoyable for me than the 3 other exams. BEC was the easiest exam since it didn't have Sims, but it was also the most boring and dry as hell. I recommend knock out FAR first, since it would only get easier from there.

    FAR - Aug 2013 Passed
    REG - DEC 2013 Passed
    BEC - FEB 2014 Passed
    AUD - MAY 2014 Passed

BSEE = who needs accounting degree to pass CPA exams?

I went BEC, REG, AUD, and now I'm studying for FAR.

FAR does seem to be a pain in the neck 🙁 I have taken care of all the exams quite well so far, but FAR is annoyingly long. Since AUD had the lowest pass rate last year I'm gonna pretend I have the worst behind me and don't anyone tell me otherwise :)))))

They are all hard. Just study study study. Sometimes you get lucky. Advice is to PRAY PRAY PRAY. God's will not ours!
