Hi All,
I am going to apply for CPA license in CA. I have applied all the conditions as required by CA, except the 3 hours ethics requirement. I have 1 semester hour of ethics credit and 5 semester hours of Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics credit. Will that be counted to fulfil the ethics requirement or will I be required to take up a new accounting ethics course.

“A minimum of 3 semester or 4 quarter units in courses devoted to accounting ethics or accountants’
professional responsibilities.”

So yes, I'd say they will be counted.
