Hello. Has anyone completed an application for the license online through the PA state board site? How does it work? How does the employer verify your hours online? How fast is it? Any information helps!

In PA the only requirements are 150 hours, 1,600 hours, and passing all parts, right?

I applied online on Friday (PA). I haven't talked to anyone that's done it this way before. I'm curious what I the anticipated timeline is. The online app was simple, and once you submit it it's populates a experience verification form that you can print to complete & then upload the completed copy.

    AUD - 84 (12/19/17)

    FAR - 77 (6/7/18)

    REG - 81 (5/14/18)

    BEC - 77 (3/5/18)

Applied end of last quarter using the online PALS system. I printed the experience forms and gave them to my boss along with a stamped envelope. She filled them out and they were mailed. Just make sure your experience form is dated before the date you submit your online application. If not, this apparently can cause a somewhat lengthy delay in processing.

I received no updates on the progress of my application but just kept checking the website. I was told they were running on about a 6 week delay. I was assigned a license number at around 4 1/2 weeks and received my certificate at the 6 week mark (license came the day before).

    B - Pass 10/16

    R - Pass 3/18

    F - Pass 1/18
