While I’m in limbo waiting on scores, I figure I might knock out the ethics exam this week. But I’m a little confused by the options on the site. There is text, online for licensure, and just online. Does anyone know what the differences are? I just want to make sure I get the right one.

Before anyone asks, I am definitely in a state that requires this (Illinois). I got the link for the course directly from the Board’s website.

    Any help would be appreciated!

@CollegeAthletetoCPA maybe we are actually talking about two different things? Where/what is this practice test you found?!

@eric its under resources, and then participant manual i think its #2 or #3. I have the PDF version/online version. The test is the last pages of the 258 pg document. I have heard thats the exact same ethics test they give you at the end of the lessons.

@carmienti I do not know CA requirements, but Idaho the remaining credits can be in anything. I took some Basque studies class and sports marketing haha.

I plan on getting through this by the end of the week; quarter close is in full effect right now!

Also, if anyone has not yet requested transcripts the process is fairly easy as my university has now outsourced this to a third party. I was able to get a PDF version of my transcript within 24 hours!

We dont have to send transcripts again. Didnt you send them when you applied to start taking exams? You have to again? @Eric? Yes – our year end is 6/30…so I am in the same boat as you. I bought it for now and started looking at it, but havent done it.

@CollegeAthletetoCPA I was thinking the same thing, however (for CT anyways) it states within your submission to include your transcripts as proof of your 150 credits…. Brutal – a 6/30 year end!! Fireworks for you tomorrow!

ya whoever picked this year end sucks. We go to my boyfriends Lake Cabin, and last year in public accounting I could take the whole week off….not anymore 🙁 haha. Oh man – good luck with ethics and transcripts!

You would have to reach out to your state to get the answer on the mailed in submissions.

It took a few hours to wrap up my last library visit lol. I would definitely try and get it out of the way and that PDF was a very efficient way for me to get it done!

Agree with @Eric. I took the Ethics test today as well. Certainly required a couple of hours to be put in but the pdf was a useful tool. Had to push myself to “study” after passing all the exams but def helps to get this one out of the way. One less thing to worry about I guess!
