Well, I've been through most of FAR becker once. I just pushed my test date back from Oct. 1 to Oct. 9th, and I feel sooo much better. This has been the craziest month for me, and although I've studied, I haven't studied as much or with as much focus as I need to. I thought my NTS didn't extend beyond the first week in october, but it turns out it doesn't expire until oct 11th. Whew. I just had to share, and I thought no one would care but y'all.

Also, I'm really struggling with hedging. Are there some youtube videos that simplify it beyond what is in becker?

    REG- 53, 91
    BEC- 88
    FAR- 62, 85
    AUD- 85

Okay guys I am currently in Becker Far 7 and up threw this point I have been struggling tremendously with FAR. I passed Audit and Reg so far this summer on the first try and am hoping i can pass this when I take it OCT 6th. It is just so different than the other sections. In general is the becker mc harder than what ill see on the test. It is just so much material to remember. Very overwhelming.

    Audit - June 2012: 80
    Reg - August 2012- 82
    Far- October 6 2012 - 71. Retake Jan 2013 - 76
    Bec- December 7 2012: 78

    Finally Done

So I just bought the Ninja notes for FAR since I'm getting really worried as I study with Becker. Materials are so hard and enormously too much 🙁 I was shocked when I took REG two weeks ago that most of the topics on the exam came from what Becker didn't really cover in depth. This time, I would definitely try to focus on everything in the book and supplement my study with ninja notes. Does anyone use these notes for FAR with becker together? How do you use them? Any tips? 😀

@Proach Hang in there!! I have used Becker for all three parts that I have passed and have found all of the MC's to be extremely representative of the actual questions on the exam. Just keep going over, and over and over and over the MC's.

Thanks @candothis. Thats what I keep doing but its taking me forever to get thru the material. I am planning on finishing my first time through all the material this weekend and that will give me 2 weeks to review(which will consist of nothing but mc and sims.

    Audit - June 2012: 80
    Reg - August 2012- 82
    Far- October 6 2012 - 71. Retake Jan 2013 - 76

So I have used the Roger FAR CRAM for the last few days I just finished lecture 8. First of all, I freaked a little when the book arrived. It is as thick as the Wiley book.

I like Roger's style, it is definitely a fast overview of the material. I think you need to have gone through another course first. He does teach, but it's fast. If it's your first time going through and you don't understand the material, I could see how it might be difficult. He frequently uses mnemonics, which I haven't been introduced to before. (Yaeger doesn't use them).

I'm liking it because after a fail I have lost some of my motivation. I turn Roger on and he already has a lesson planned for me which is nice.

@ihatestudying If you absolutely don't understand the concepts Roger may be too fast. Sometimes he backs things up with examples, sometimes he doesn't. Also, I would say that he leaves out details compared to Yaeger. (How could it not, he covers FAR in 16 hours.)

Since I am refreshing, not relearning this seems to be working for me. I still plan to hit lots of MCP's in the Wiley test bank and rewrite my notes.
