Not Sure What/How to Study Now

I’m frustrated and don’t know what to do. I take FAR on Monday (my first section) and I’ve gone through all the main videos in my rogers course, all the rogers cram videos, quite a few NINJA plus videos here (basically just my trouble topics), and quite a few NINJA blitz videos. I’ve also done all the questions in Roger (over 1800 MC and 120 TBS) and I started doing questions here but didn’t see a single question I hadn’t already seen between Roger and the released questions. Doing the MCQ again doesn’t seem to help me since I already saw the answer and remember a lot of the problems and how I solved them and what I got for that specific problem. I know there are other test banks but is it worth it this close to test day or should I just see how it goes? If I should get one, which one? I’m a grad student and cost is definitely a huge factor :/
    Any advice is greatly appreciated!

But why are you stressing? if you went thru all the questions and sims in your prep course and on ninja.. why do you feel like you need more? I'd say switch your study techniques, listen to the ninja audio, i did that for about three weeks before exam but i bet even doing it for a week it'll still be good. review your note, rewrite ninja notes.. relax.. meditate 🙂

Because I missed a lot of questions (I averaged about 75% right on Roger when I went through them after videos) and I feel like there are definitely areas I could use more practice in (NFP, Pensions, etc…) but don't really know a good way to get the practice when I feel like I've just memorized the questions I have access to.

it sounds to me that you're ready 🙂 Just focus on your weaknesses (like you said, NFP, Pensions…etc). Answer the MCQs without looking at the available answers if you're afraid you memorized the MCQs already. Like they said above, relax, breathe. 🙂

75% is pretty decent. I had 71 trending on ninja and my wiley mocks were 60 something. Turned out just fine. Focus more on NFP and gov.

I feel you are ready, don't stress. I would recommend to just try to answer the question and not look at answer options to gauge where you stand? Just do MCQs and more MCQs, work on weak areas. Good Luck, you got this!!!

You need to a do a couple of practice tests. That way you can gauge your timing on each question/simulation and how you will time it on the real day of testing.

I would do the SIMS, different way to approach the concepts..And definitely work on the weak areas. Can you speak to the topic in your own words? if so, you are ready!

It's not much but definitely do the AICPA practice tests- the SIMs are the closest you will find to the real exam. As for the rest of your time, I would just review in whatever way you feel is most helpful. For me, this was hitting MC and re-reading weak areas. Sounds like you've done most of the work already. Last but not least, get a good night's sleep on Sunday, and I wouldn't plan on studying much if any on Monday before the test, you want to go in as refreshed as possible.

Even if you already went through the MCQs and can remember most of them, there is something in repetition that would help you retain much-needed knowledge and calm your nerves. I suggest going through the MCQs again for one day and see where it gets you. For 1800 questions, I am pretty sure there is still gold to mine there… best of luck!
