Yeah it's been a nightmare, so sad. It really bothers me how terrible the area around USC is. In my undergrad I would stay in the library all night, but here I'm never on campus after classes end at 9:30. Just too much of a risk walking around here late at night.
Yeah, it's extremely dangerous at a lot of campuses at night…especially for women. You guys gotta be careful if you're on campus late; schools usually have some sort of shuttle/escort service.
I just don't stay on campus later than other students but you just never know. People get robbed around this area during the day, what happened to those two students really could have happened to anyone.
