    @keeptrying – I actually didnt take any notes for any of the sections. I learn best by listening to the lectures. The AUD notes I gave you were put together by a friend of a friend. They were pretty comprehensive, I would never put something like that together. lol. I'll see if they did anything for BEC. I am always available to chat about concepts or help in any other way that I can. Feel free to email me or facebook me anytime.

    @keeptrying. sorry to hear the score. Just wondering if there is any topics, (IT, Variance, Cost Accounting, etc) in BEC you are struggling with?

    my trouble spots consistently are strategic planning and financial management, corporate governance was my other one this time but I know i just need to brush up on that one because that once hasn't been a consistent weaker area. Operations management had been until this time so yeager did it's job on that one and brought me up to stronger…thank you Cindy! Financial management and strategic planning are my constant weaker points…not sure what to do on these because i memorize the formulas….i guess when it goes to applying them I am weak.

    @keeptrying. Does stragetic planning mean Variance analysis calculation on the exam? I just took BEC yesterday, and there are many calculation questions. I believe these questions are testing how solid your understand toward those concepts. The acutal questions are going to be different from practice questions. The actual questions might ask the question backward or change one factor in the equation. You can't memorize the way the book calculate, you just have to understand WHY the book is calculating this way. Once you understand it, memorization will come easy and natural.

    I ordered Roger's CPA Review this time around. Becker just bored me. I'm almost done with chapter 1's lectures already. I should be done by tonight. After that I'm planning on writing out Jeff's NINJA notes and doing tons of MCQs. I'm also thinking of purchasing Yeagar's Audio Lectures for BEC. I drive about 45 minutes each way to and from work so I was thinking of listening to those lectures on my communte to and from work.

    What's your plan of attack?

    @ Keeptrying….I don't post on here much, but I do read the blogs. I am totally bummed for you and hope you get it next time! You are definitely the voice of perseverance and many people are rooting for you. Your are such a strong, smart woman and I thank you for sharing your story and inspiring others.     Sorry about the bad news…..BEC was my hardest for me to pass too. I'm not sure why, but it was. You scores obviously show that you know the material enough to pass, but just need to tweak a few study methods and/or testing habits to win the last exam. Are you running out of time, or testing too quickly? Do you read the last sentence first, which is usually the question, to see what they are asking for? From my experience, the wordier questions were the easiest as they added a paragraph to through you off topic. You need to prepare for this last exam like it's the last one you will ever take. Over-prepare. Un plug your router/modem while studying to avoid surfing the web while studying (this is what I did, because I constantly found myself taking little break and wasting time surfing). Tell your forum friends that you will see them next month (after you pass). We will all understand : ) Good luck!!!
