I am right with you on the studying process. I felt the same way with REG. I felt like I should keep doing mcq's that I didn't take the time to doing any rewriting of any notes. I took 2 days to rewrite notes on Audit, so I will see if that did the trick next week. I am still forming my plan for REG. I was thinking to begin my studying process with the rewriting of notes, that way I can start off with the hammering down of info before I hit the mcq's. Not sure if that is best. But at least in the beginning I don't feel as rushed so I was thinking that perhaps I would be more apt to “soak” in all that REG has to offer!
I read on another thread what you wrote about the score report. I am also baffled by that info. Not that I question it as much as it is not a real help in determining how to plan the next attack. I feel like the score report could be used as a tool for candidates, but in the current format, it isn't much help. My last 70 on REG I was weaker in 4 areas on the mcq. This time I was weaker in only 1 but got a 72. Makes no sense to me as to how I can apply this to my studying plan. OIY!!!
For me, I think the hardest part of getting a 72 is having to tell other people. Me, I feel like I can take it, but the thought of telling my hubby, friends, colleagues, recruiters–hell, just about anybody, that is what weighs on me most. So, I can relate to you having to speak with your boss. I am really sorry.
