I need help with FAR!

Okay so I took FAR twice, the first time I got a 71, then I got a 57. I seriously dont know what I should be doing now, I feel lost, worried, and a bit scared. I am wondering how many more times do I have to fail in order to pass. I used the Wiley material along with it’s online test bank. Is there another approach that I should do? Perhaps Becker?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Trouble with concepts, or trouble with memorization?

Memorization trouble= NINJA NOTES all the way! Wiley definitely helps, but their explanation on the questions is piss poor in my honest opinion.

Concepts=I think if you are really having troubles grasping the material Becker may be a good choice.

I mean I used the wiley material for both time I took it, so I am not sure if it's me or wiley. I also feel that wiley's explanation for certain parts are a bit insufficient. So I really dont know what to do anymore.

During your study time, are you taking the time to write out journal entries and t-accounts in order to visualize the problem? Although you won't have much time on the exam to write out problems, doing so will help you concretize the conceptual nature of FAR.

I agree with musicamor. A thing I would do is studying is always write out the journal entries. It helps engrain the concepts in your brain. Personally I like Becker because they have lots of helpful mnemonics. I wrote out all the mnemonics I could remember on the scratch paper at the start of my FAR exam, and it helped on a few questions.

    BEC - 90 PASSED
    FAR - 84 PASSED
    AUD - 93 PASSED
    REG - 84 PASSED

    I DID IT!!!!

    Using Becker Self-Study
