I am scheduled to take FAR in Q3 and oddly enough, it is the exam that keeps me up at night. I actually paid for it once and didn’t show up (dumb, I know). My best advice is don’t be your worst enemy! A positive attitude goes a long way.

When are you taking your exam? July 31, 2018, first FAR exam
What exam topic keeps you awake at night? Not really a topic but I really like Bob Monette's videos. They definitely keep me up at night and I'm thrilled for every lecture. I even think about it at work and excited to go home to listen to him. Currently studying for investments/inventory.

One tip is to do flashcards crazy! Whenever you have a couple minutes spare time, just do some flashcards on a topic you just studied. The information just sticks!!

Would love to win one month- thanks!

One study or career tip others might find helpful. I have a whiteboard that I use and pretend to be a teacher so that I can say some of these more confusing concepts out loud to explain them to myself again. It reinforces the concepts and gives me more confidence.

When are you taking your exam? July 2-5 (I was notified today that I qualified for the NTS and that I would be getting it within a couple business days)

What exam topic keeps you awake at night? The complex consolidations of gov't accounting involving deferred inflows/outflows, ect.

One study or career tip others might find helpful. I've found it very helpful to have a very specific goal for what I want to accomplish throughout the week/month and to have those goals printed, in front of me to look at. When I started studying, I had more of a leisure approach and was much less productive than I have been in the last week.

When are you taking your exam?
I am plan on taking FAR at the end of July (although Becker doesn't seem to think that's a good idea LOL)

What exam topic keeps you awake at night?
    LEASES

I would say just don't throw in the towel. As many have said, this is a marathon, not a sprint. The material is not as hard as it is vast. Eat the elephant one bite at a time. It takes discipline and dedication to get through this. You put in the work and time and the results will reflect that.

I actually already took far May 14, but I have never been more sure in my life that I failed so I'm still
studying FAR. Depending on the score release, I'll probably take it again Mid July

    NON-PROFIT!!!

Don't underestimate any topics, even though instructors say the percentage of being tested on that subject is low or you will have minimal questions on it, still study it until you've got it down!

I've had trouble posting on this site, so just testing it out here. I'll be studying for FAR and will add more details later.
