@Julia, I think you would find between 10 % to 15 % similar . 75 % I highly doubted unless I am missing something. I have used CPA EXCEL and Wiley TB, did not see may similar questions.

    Thanks

@ Monir, maybe it's just Non-For-Profit part 🙂 I finished all chapters and questions in NFP CPA excel and moved on to WTB. Most of the questions are the same. However, there were 2 or 3 questions in WTB (for NFP) with answers that had more details than CPA excel provided.

It made me think that CPA excel misses important information that can be crucial on the exam.

FAR has wrecked me mentally. I'm just trying to trudge through the lectures now. I'm finally in F7, but it's as if Olinto is speaking a different language. Literally nothing that he is going over is making sense to me. This has been the case for about the past three or four chapters, lol. Sigh……

    REG - 93 (7/30/13)
    BEC - 90 (8/19/13)
    AUD - 98 (8/31/13)
    FAR - 84 (10/19/13)

In regards to reporting comprehensive income: If the company has OCI, the company can choose to present comprehensive income in 2 different ways. 1) Continuous format with or 2) a seperate but consecutive statement. My question is can the company choose to report this in stockholder's equity? I recall hearing that is no longer an acceptable format. Thanks

    FAR- PASSED (11/13)
    REG- PASSED (2/14)
    BEC- PASSED (5/14)
    AUD- PASSED (8/14)

If it's important to you, you will find a way. If it isn't, you will find an excuse.

Business consolidations chapter, my last chapter to go through for the “first” time, was frustrating me pretty bad earlier this morning and making me mini-rage at Starbucks. I had to stop and go into soft fluffy comfort territory: reviewing Ninja notes whilst eating craptastic lunch at local fast food restaurant. Someone asked me if I was grading papers… I WISH

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

How do I enter the PV function on the spreadsheet tool? I practiced on the AICPA website, but my number is wrong I am entering =PV(.04,10,0,1000000) for the PV of $1 at a 8% market rate for 5 years with a principal of 1,000,000. I keep getting 558394.776.

The PV should be less than $1. I am so frustrated. My test is tomorrow afternoon and I am FREAKING OUT!!

    AUD-75 (on the dot!)
    FAR- waiting
