    LOL DJN. I was just looking at the PDF earlier.

    I still have some time left to study so am mostly going to focus on governmental/NFP/F10 for the night. AND, my exam is at 1PM tomorrow so I'll have some time before that as well.

    I'm probably over-panicking but, like I said earlier, if I have to retake this exam…there will be an AICPA closure instead of a government one because I'll kill them all.

    @NYC

    I agree; I find bonds/leases to be one of the easier concepts. I honestly, for the life of me, can't get pensions down, or deferred taxes for that matter. Everything else, I'm alright with.

    BEC (July 2013)
    FAR (OCT 2013)
    REG (NOV 2013)
    AUD (JAN 2014)

    The CPA Exam is an opponent that not even the Fellowship of the Ring would want to come across.

    I have a long...long...journey ahead of me.

    ZSRizvi, I'll be at a conference all day tomorrow so likely not able to post before you head out, but go get 'em! And let us know afterwards how it went so we're prepared if there's going to be an AICPA shutdown, LOL.

    Quick question on the SIMs:

    Do you guys know if the SIMs will have drop-down menus to pick journal entries from? The SIMs released in the AICPA released questions seem to have drop-down menus. If that's the case, it'll be a lot easier. If I can see certain items in the drop-down menus, it helps trigger my memory in what I've read in the study material. Is that the case for anyone else?

    EDIT: Ahahah sure thing, DJN. There will either be a closure, or I'll hold them at gunpoint and force them to make the upcoming exams easier so we don't age prematurely. I swear I've lost 5 kg of hair already in the last 4-5 months.

    Yes, there will be drop-downs for the J/Es. (Just think if there weren't — how could they standardize the grading of this thing? As if there isn't enough “magic” going on with the scores!)

    Okay that gives me some relief.

    Man, they totally curve the scores. They just don't want us to know because then we probably wouldn't put as much effort in or something, LOL. If they didn't curve, I'm thinking scores would be out much sooner, right?

    I believe they do something to the scores. I think there is a subjective input as well. How do you explain someone leaving 4 sims blank and passing? or so I read in this forum.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
    AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

    @NYC

    There's hope for me yet! LOL. I feel like I'm going to bomb those SIMs for some reason.

    You can be certain that I'll be up at 6AM praying to God that he gives me that extra edge to pass. Ahahaha

    Im bugging out. Using Becker and Im on my second go around through the chapters, MCQ's, SIMs. There is just so much information you really have to get down. Test is 10/19. Im also using the flash cards and Ninja audio. Progress tests are killing me, especially chap 2. Is the best review to just keep taking progress tests? I still havn't taken the practice tests also. I just don't feel like I did studying for Reg or BEC the 3rd time. The mcq's are so long that I think it inhibits me from mastering the material because all my concentration is on reading and understanding the question.

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I hate this!!!
