If you take it on the 14th you will get your scores in a week. I'm taking it on the 15th, won't know till Sept 9th. I thought I caught this window but oh well. I hate waiting though.

I'm also trying to figure out the my final review schedule now. I spent the last 2 weeks going from F1-F10 using my Becker outlines + personal notes from 1st attempt + Becker flash cards and 50-75 progress test MCQs + 1 SIM. Today I finish F10.

Starting tomorrow i'm going to spend a day or two to create my final review “packages” which will be all JEs from the book, plus mnemonics, and formulas, going to try to keep other notes to minimum as I should know this information by now. Then I will start using the Ninja MCQ and SIMs which I bought with the 10 point package. I think there are about 1500 MCQs and 71 SIMS for FAR. So each day do a ton of MCQs and several SIMs and review my notes and FCs. I think this will get me ready in the next two weeks (hopefully). Of course I never feel prepared enough for this exam… I MUST PASS!!!!!

I am on Becker's F2 and I was wondering do I need to know JEs for % of completion and completed contract methods??? It is strange that Becker talks about the accounts that should be charged, but doesn't show actual JEs. I would appreciate you insight….

Here it is, my last night before i start hardcore review tomorrow, taking it 8/30 and I've been studying for this since school let out in may. Idk how i feel like I'm still forgetting stuff. I was reading something before on this company that is a franchisor and i started thinking about franchise accounting and i could barely remember it, i had to go to my book and look up some things. idk whats everyone else's review, just hammer MCQ, journal entries, gov't nfp, and firs?

you think this review will be enough time to hopefully pull off a passing grade?

@jstay, I'm in a similar boat as you. I start my final review tomorrow and take my test 8/29. I plan on skimming each section followed up with MCQ and sims for each. After that I plan on hammering out more MCQs. I'm not sure what else, except to take a couple of practice exams closer to test date. Good luck to you, you can do it!

Also, I'm currently using the Wiley test bank. Does anyone feel the Ninja test bank is a difference maker or not as compared to Wiley? Or should I just keep with the Wiley repetitively?

@skillet – i used wiley first and am now doing ninja as a round 2 of multiple choice, both are really good and i think a new set of questions is nice bc then you aren't memorizing the answers. Although i have seen repeat questions from wiley in ninja

idk I'm using becker and have already gone through the questions once, a few sections twice, and i found the WTB online so i printed it and am using that. probably gonna finish it this weekend/next week..idk what to do after. go back through the WTB and through becker one more time?

@jstay – why dont you take a practice exam and see what your weak areas are and do more mcq/sims for those areas?

take it before you begin the review, I know that help me get an idea of what I was in for, what I remember and what I don't remember. and then take one after doing all the MCQs

@ahugemistake, thanks maybe i will do one on sunday, also yesterday i did 2 sections in wiley..investments & cash flows..so that was a little over a hundred questions between the both. today I'm doing business combinations (70 questions) and hopefully i start derivative instruments (about 60 questions). how many should i be doing? i know the answer is going to be as much as possible
