Is it ok to start a FAR Study Group? I retook Audit yesterday and although I don’t have a gut feeling either way if I passed or not, I am going to start on FAR. I am using Becker self-study and purchased the Ninja Notes for FAR.

I am looking forward to reading a/b everyone’s progression. Good Luck!

Keep with it!!! I know it's been tough but there are lots of others who have been through exactly what your going through. Remind yourself why you want to become a CPA. Make sure your doing it for yourself. You can do this! The CPA exam is about persistence. Based on your scores I can tell that your working hard but maybe need to change things up a bit. Do something different! Add a few more hours a week or maybe add a new perspective to your studies. What material are you using? What is your schedule like?

@ Casagarber I know I haven't been studying as much as I need to, and I know I didn't do enough MCQs the first time around. I am using Yaeger from 2011, the NINJA notes/audio and Wiley test bank. I just feel like for every question I get right, I get like 2 or 3 wrong, so I get discouraged. It's so much material, I almost don't know how to study it all.

Make sure you are understanding why each answer is right or wrong. If you are struggling with a specific topic rewatch the videos. I am also using Yaeger and have rewatched some of the harder topics such as bonds, leases and pensions. Don't move on until you understand the topic. You can do it!

casagarber what materials are you using? by order of your topics it seems it might be Becker. Hope studying is going well. My weekend wasn't exactly productive but I'm a bit ahead so still on track.

zahid I don't know too much about yeager, but if you have the $$, ninja notes + wiley test bank is a great value for the price in case you want to add to your materials.
