How important are the JEs for NFP revenue recognition? Are you guys memorizing them? I think they're confusing.

@wannafree I would still try to go off of Roger's schedule because I cannot say for sure that T3 is going to work out that way for each candidate, but you can be flexible if a couple minutes will make the difference. I had a bit of a buffer because I got through the MCQs pretty quickly (hopefully no stupid mistakes), so I was able to take a little bit longer.

    @Sally
focus on cranking out MCQs and read through notes during breaks. I was doing about 40 to 50 MCQs in sections of 10 or 20 and then I would take a break and read through my notes or skim through the book on areas I am having trouble with. After a couple cycles of that, I would randomly pick 1-2 simulations on Becker and work through them. Rinse and repeat 🙂 Day of (I had an afternoon time) I made sure to get enough sleep and then I read through notes and did 10 MCQs here and there to keep my mind fresh.

@crmn89 ,I have many questions to ask ,take your time .Do you think that MCQs will help for SIM too ? How many SIMs you practiced ? I have done good on Bond ,Notes payable and Receivables , Inventory ,Consolidation,Basic FS from trial ,Pension PBO ,Leases ,PPE including Impairment and non monetary ,Contingent liabilities for two steps MCQ or SIM .Am I missing any important topic ? I have done Chapter 1 though chapter 7 from Becker's. Govt and NFP I have done lot of MCQ.
Today someone reminded me Cash Flow Hedge. So far lost count of MCQ , I guess 3000 from Ninja , Gliem and FreeCPA. I did Becker's in last March.

@beantown, those JEs are *very* important. Be sure you know how a pot of money goes from temp restricted, into unrestricted, then to cash out.

Does this summary make sense? It's so easy for me to get confused with fx transactions.

    From perspective of American company:
    .
    RECEIVABLE
    .
Increase – LOSS – dollar purchases fewer yen
Receivable denominated in yen currently exchanging at 1.20/$1
Decrease – GAIN – dollar purchases more yen
    .
    PAYABLE
    .
Increase – GAIN – dollar purchases more yen
Payable denominated in yen currently exchanging at 1.20/$1
Decrease – LOSS – dollar purchases fewer yen

@wannafree.Based on the inforation u gave us, I would say you are well prepared. If u did arround 3000 McQs and also dug in those areas u mentioned….you will definitly pass. What remains is time management on the exam. You would be surprized if I tell u that I only covered arround 52% of Beckers before going to my exam.

Try out loud and u will be succesful. Someone.

I'm at about 10,200 mcqs (7,800 gleim, 2,400 ninja) seen most of the Gleim sims, read every page of the Gleim book and I'm terrified.

@WannaFree Ive seen on here that 30/60/60 Roger time management is good if you think about it as 20 minutes per regular sim and 10 minutes per Research Sim. So if the research sim is in your 3rd testlet, 30/60/60 is a good schedule. But if the research sim is in your 4th testlet, 40/50/60 should be what you aim for, if that makes sense.

How does this sound for the time requirements:

    40 mins
    40 mins
    50 mins
    55 mins
    55 mins

I heard a lot of people saying the first sim booklet is really tough so thats why I added more time to that..
