Just got done with REG and hopping on the FAR train for 7/6, with a 10-day vacation in-between. Making sure to take notes on the lectures as I go this time, but definitely concerned at the amount of material this section has.

@hwasup7 How bad were sims? I'm more afraid of the sims then MCQ.

    1. I was more worried of Simulations as well coz I did a lot of Ninja MCQ and shit. But MCQ were definitely trickier than I expected.

    2. I had two DRS and one research. I am not sure if I got the research right. 1 or two of the simulations were quite straight forward. The rest were very extensive and time consuming.

    I really hope I passed this time…

@hwasup7 How much time did you have save for sims? Did you feel the need to rush since their were multiple simulation testlets. I'm a little worried about the new format.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

@hwasup7 Were they getting tricky on the second testlet? If that the case, then you probably got a hard testlet, but even then it's hard to say.

    @mtaylo24
I'm a bit worried also. My exam is on the 12th. Have about 4k of Gleim mcq under my belt at an average of low 80s and a boat load of sims done. Right now I'm doing Ninja mcq with just only new questions and no repeats..trending and average score above 90. Really hope that we can all put this beast down once in for all.

Lol i was getting ready to ask the same thing about testlet 2.

I made it through Gleim once, now I'm in the performance analysis reviewing all of my sessions. Probably wont start Ninja until the last week of April/first week of May. You shouldn't have much to worry about with those scores.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

Nah, my second teslet was easier i think… I guess I didnt do too good on the first one. I felt so much time pressure on MCQ becoz I left two simluations completely blank the last time I took FAR coz I ran out of time. I only had an hour left for sim. So this time, I thought I would get MCQs done asap and spend more time on Sim. I had 10-15 min left when I finished all sim. I think I spent about 1:30 on MCQ and rest on Sim.

Hey guys, I just started studying for AUD again to be taken at the end of May. My question is, is 9 weeks enough for FAR for end of July? or should I take longer. In the past I have studied about 7 weeks and those were my scores.. but on the flip side I dont want to take too long and end up forgetting cuz I struggled with recalling materials.

@IwannabeaCPA2017 9 weeks should be sufficient, considering that you have history with the exam already. Is there a reason why you are targeting July? Did you have another exam planned for August?

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

    Hi everyone,

I am trying to find the best way to study and hope you all can help me! I am in between Roger, Wiley, and NINJA. I have heard amazing things about the NINJA review materials but am wondering if anyone is using them as a stand alone review course or they are using this as a supplement to another course? My firm doesn't help cover the cost of the materials so would have to pay for this out of pocket. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thank you,

    Elizabeth

Some people can pass with just Ninja, but a good chunk of people uses it as a supplement especially the MCQ which cost just $47. Can you pass just with Ninja? Maybe..but that hard to say because everyone is different.
