I’ve had a few requests for April/May Study Groups…March will be here before you know it.

In order to take an early April exam, you should begin studying…now. 🙂

Just to illustrate how tired I am: I read KRina's question and saw this sentence “Abel withdrew $30,000 cash on April 1 and on June 1; Abel contributed land with a fair value of $50,000 to the partnership” and read it as he withdrew $30,000 on both April 1 and June 1 and at some point he contributed land with a fair value of $50,000 to the partnership. Drew a massive blank on how to calculate a weighted average with a time frame of “some point” versus having an actual date. Good grief.

@Goingtobecpa87. I wouldn't call the scores fantastic, but I passed and that's all that counts. My study time is limited, I work full time, have a 14 year old son ( pure evil ), two dogs who drive me nuts, and a husband who busts my chops constantly to play some zombie killing video game. Not to mention the fact that at 45 my brain doesn't retain the way it did 20 years ago. I live in NYC, and it takes me an hour to commute to and from work. Here's what I did, and there is an entire section of forest gone because of me, but I promise to plant a few trees when I'm done with this exam. I printed out every single multiple choice question from Becker. Every day I would clip together a stack of them and while commuting I would do them. Dog ear all the ones i got wrong and then put them in a pile. Comprehensive tests in Becker daily to keep it all fresh because God knows you forget half the stuff you learned two weeks later. Do the SIMS, but don't put too much stock into them cause they are NEVER anything like the exam. And most of all, never give up, and never underestimate yourself. You're smarter than you think !

@CPAMommy, I had that same exact question and read it the same way you did. That's why it's seriously so important to RTMFQ !!!
