@Howmany, yeah I'm thankful for the support…. Just hate that he's more confident me than I am.
I agree about Vegas. We used to live outside of Phoenix where it was a 4 hr drive and I flew my hubby out to go party it up with his friends last year for his 30th and I stayed home here with our kiddos for a week… I think once this is all said and done if were still here or have moved back to az, I deserve a trip!!
I'm down for Vegas!!! I've never been. This is an adult only trip, right???? I've had enough of Disney and Legoland type of trips for a little while. 🙂
Hi ninjas, I had a crazy week. TGIF! I decided to skip Pensions and move on to something I understand better. finished reading taxes and now reading stockowners equity which I understand more but feel like I need to practice the JEs… This weekend I'll do nonstop mcqs and take notes on things I feel are important. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
Tee- you will kick ass on ur exam. Keep going!! Don't forget to RTMFQ!!! :))

Our group is aweeessssome! Reminds me of the FAR group I used to lurk in Q1 of 2013 when I was still contemplating the CPA exam. There is some really good info in there btw I suggest a browse through…
Love all of the support for Vegas! I'm in the So. CA area so it's a hop skip and a jump away. I think we ALL deserve an adults only trip out there (with friends or with spouce or what have you). Something about celebrating major milestones in life with a weekend (or week) of debachory just makes it all the sweeter…
Now that the day dreaming is done it's back to work. I've been doing 10 question MCQs in the WTB all day while at work (shhhh). Got 100 out of the way, scores ranged from 70%-90% all focused in my weakest areas and brought all of my cumm. scores above 60%…hey it's progress! Still only 30% through the bank though, and I haven't done any WTB questions in Pensions, Government or Consolidations because I just can't handle the heartbreak on a friday afternoon. I've got one more quiz to do and then I'm putting the books away for 24 hours while I take my wonderful yet snarky girlfriend out for being so understanding this week. I will see you all tomorrow. Keep at it!!
How many letters , I can actually put my singlehood to go use in Vegas! Woohoo! Lmao 🙂

We actually have a cruise booked for September. Not adult only, but a nice change from theme park lines. There is something about all you can eat that makes me happy, but the all you can drink liquor in a casino would be even better!
please count me in for Vegas.. Never been but after what I am going through now and this exam, I definitely need to join you all for the Vegas trip.
Dumb question,,, treasury stock confused the heck out of me. When do you debit and credit. Debit is reduction and credit is increase/addition right???? I should know this but ??? it happens
Krina, Treasury stock is a contra equity account so it has a debit balance…all questions are good questions 🙂 When a company repurchases stock, DR Treasury & CR Cash…two different methods.

Yes exactly what teetee said. Look at it as the opposite of a stock issue. So you credit cash/debit treasury stock (cost method); or credit cash/debit treasury stock@par value/debit PIC as plug (par method).
