Isn't it in GAAP – added to Operating Activities

Reallly reassuring that only 40% of what I am slaving over will appear on this exam. I have one more full day tomorrow. Just going to do multiple choice until I die. Any other suggestions? I just spent the last 2 hours writing out my flashcards on all the “key points” and must memorize in Becker as noted in Becker.

I should really look at IFRS v GAAP too one last time. eeeek I wish I had like one more full week v. one more day!

Im doing a ninja sim and jeff reported dividend received from an investee in Investment column.

I thought it should be operating?

If Jeff is reading he can check the simulation under the topic below, I really want to get to the bottom of this

In my Rogers notes its say for GAAP its Operating Activities and also in the Gleim book i have…

110% sure that it's Operating for GAAP and Operating OR Investing for IFRS.

I also looked at Becker and they agree with Gleim.

Stoleway – Have you done the Ninja Mcqs — do you find them difficult like how others have claimed it is more difficult than their review courses ?

I have not tried my hands on the ninja mcqs, im only utilizing the sims, there are lots of of mcqs in Gleim and I feel that's enough for me.

The material definitely covers the 40% but I dont feel like it covered it quite as in depth as it was tested. A lot ( I mean A LOT) of the major sections that I spent the majority of time on, were either not at all, or barely tested. That section in the front of the Becker books that shows how the test is broken up, as far as percentages? Not applicable to this test. The weirdest part was that I felt like the sims were comparatively easy to the rest of the test. No curveballs, no surprises…much easier than the sims I had in REG and Audit.
