Just got back from FAR…I posted in the experience thread for whoever is interested. I'll just say that my test was super specific and covered only about 40% of my study material. Frustrating.
This really sucks. We study like crazy for the freaking encyclopedia that is FAR to just get tested on 40% of the material. That decreases our chances tremendously.
I was really mad walking out of the test. There were a couple sections that I had drilled into my head and knew backwards and forwards…didnt get a SINGLE question on them.
Amanda – It sounds like you have a very good shot of passing. You sound like most people who come back with a passing score. Every time I felt the way you described, I passed. The one time, I got cocky, I failed .
I hope so- the sims were really not too bad. I was expecting MUCH worse. A couple of them were so easy that I was worried I was making them easier than they should have been. I just looked in my book and I am pretty sure I got one of the sims I wasn't too sure about at least most of the way right. I'm making a contingency plan just in case I failed but we'll see in a couple weeks.
For all of you guys that have just taken the test or will take it this quarter I want to give you lots of encouragement and well wishes. I made the post below immediatley after taking my exam. So if you feel like that when you leave the exam, stay positive. I passed. You will too!!!
“All I can type right now is WTF! I'm not going to say I failed because I have said that before and passed. I am just going to say that I am drained and I was FAR's punching bag today. Hopefully a lot of those punches were just for sparring and don't really count. I'll see on the 2nd. “
And if you want a good laugh go back in this thread and read posts I made leading up to my exam. I was posting under CPAMommyof3 back then and man was I an emotional, stressed out basket case. It's normal!
