AnonymousInactiveHa! I'm used to it. Considering that I had three kids in 3.5 years, everyone at my job likes to refer to me as mama or some version of that because most of them don't remember me not being pregnant or having just been pregnant. And of course it's non stop at home. I swear I need to figure out how to get my 1 year old off of repeat. “mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, etc.” I'm starting to think I should have joined this forum under an assumed identity of someone that has no kids, doesn't have to work, and travels the world in a private jet owned by my billionaire boyfriend, you know just to have some fun. 🙂 I wonder how many people would have taken me seriously if I had done that??

oilgaslbMember@mommy…or anyone who would appreciate this actually…
to lighten the mood I'll let you guys know the major meltdown of the week from my 7 year old son was…
he was bawling because he thought he'd get in trouble because he read the entire book for his book club ahead of schedule “because it was just so good mommy, I couldn't stop!”
guess it could be worse! 🙂

AnonymousInactiveThat's awesome! I can only hope to have that problem when my girls learn to read. 🙂

AnonymousInactiveI finally got my Ninja Notes into Word format and I'm typing my own notes into it so i can keep adding to it as I chug through all these MCQs. I have three notebooks of notes going and I just can't take it anymore. Hopefully I'll be completely caught up this weekend!

teeteenounoucheMemberoilgaslb, I have a 7 year old also and he loves the Captain Underpants series…we were afraid he didn't like to read until he found those books. Turns out he's like me…loves numbers and can't stand to read unless for fun lmao

oilgaslbMember@teetee – that's awesome…mine is unlike me – I like numbers, don't like to read…and his best reward/worst punishment is related to more/less books. He had gone through the first 2 Harry Potter books by the time he was 6. He's now finishing up the Percy Jackson series…I can't keep up with all this, and books add up when they get to be this age! haha

AnonymousInactive@zubairs–I decided to spend my time getting organized last night. I took a couple of multiple topic quizzes and didn't do well. I have so many notebooks going with notes in them and it was driving me nuts so I decided to convert the Ninja Notes to Word and type up all of my notes into the ninja notes. I should be done with that by Saturday and then I'm going to start quizzing and getting through all of the MCQ and SIMS in Wiley on the chapters I have already covered, adding notes of the ones I get wrong to my word document. If I can't master the stuff I've already gone through then I won't move on to the next section. I feel like time is slipping away. Only 38 days until the test.

CPAfitParticipant@mommy I feel you it's like in no time the test day will be there 🙁 I'm having a hard time sleeping at night lately so using it to my advantage and putting in those extra hours for the lectures. I want to finish all the lectures for now while making my notes. Once i'm done with the vids then I'll go ham on the book, Ninja Notes, Blitz & Audio while doing 30-50 MCQs per day of the chapter read in the morning. I know the vids don't do much for most people but I just don't want to miss out on the hot BECKER action 😛 Just finished F6 moving on to F7 good luck everyone 🙂

UHC2005Member@cpamommy That's a great idea. The notes are starting to pile up in notebooks with no rhyme or reason to them.

oilgaslbMember@mommy….he goes to the library once a week and goes through about 20-30 books a week. The collections/series are the ones I buy him because he will read them over and over again.
This “x days until” is really stressing me out everyone! Guess it's time to really step on it!

AnonymousInactive@zubairs–When is your test? Your signature still has Feb or Apr 2014. I really need to get moving on the harder chapters. I had no idea that this week would affect my studies so much. Shooting for a major Power Weekend.
@UHC2005–I was starting to get really confused having notes in so many places. I think this will help a lot! I hope it helps you too.
@oilgaslb–20-30 books per week?! That is fabulous!!! I love the series books. My husband and I couldn't put Harry Potter down. Whenever a new book was released we had to buy two copies because we couldn't wait for the other one to finish it. When he's older he'll probably enjoy Hunger Games and the Divergent series. There is also a big series of “Magic Tree” or something like that. Another mom was telling me when we volunteered at the school book fair together. She said her children all loved that series and there are over 60 books in the series I think. The countdown is stressing me out too. I thought about moving my test back further just to relieve some of the stress, but I don't think it will help. It will just make me draw at the studying more and I'll start to forget things (more than I already do). I've been avoiding the hard topics and I need to just buckly down and tackle them. Hopefully next week will allow me some breathing room. I love the motivation in this thread!!

oilgaslbMember@mommy – he's read all the magic tree house books at least 2 times already…they're a bit easy for him but he still enjoys them. ok no more kid talk – CPA TALK!! 🙂 We can always push back last minute if we need to, but we shouldn't have that as an option in our mind other wise we may slack. Let's do this!! 🙂
