mama bear…. set a goal for yourself, maybe do 100 mcqs (select the questions randomly) and a sim each day. don't stress too much about it, calm down, relax and let everything flow naturally.
I am not re-writing notes. I have tried it, but I really don't see a diff between reading really carefully and writing. Mind you I did do it for REG and BEC, but I came to the conclusion, that I did not think writing it made any difference.
@CPAMommyof3 I totally understand how you feel. I am going through all the questions again now (1,500+ questions) and it's so time consuming. But hey, this is the life we choose so we gotta do what it takes. But as long as you have all the major concepts down, you should be fine! IMO, I think at most for any given topic you will probably see 3-5 questions and as long as you understand the concepts, you should be fine. Remember, they can't test you on every topic.
Momma – The way I look at this test, is if I know that I studied more than the avg person taking this exam, than I have a really good chance of passing this sucker. You seem like your ready.
Rewriting notes really helped me for AUD. I have a bad habit of just blindly reading when I read through the notes and not really retaining. Writing helps me remember, but I just don't see that I will have time for that because I have too many notes for FAR. Maybe I'll just rewrite the JEs and the calculations and not all the concepts. That could help.
Thanks Spartan–I will try to get at least 50 MCQ done a day. Hopefully there won't be so many long ones in my small sets.
Calling it a night. I haven't really done much today except for taking a progress test and going over the questions I missed on deferred taxes. Today has been honestly a rest day for me. Hope to be re-energized for tomorrow as I review over stockholders equity and statement of cash flows.
Thanks JRo–Sometimes I feel ready and sometimes I don't. It makes me nervous that I could get 10 question on EPS. I hate how up in the air this “Uniformed” test is. My two AUD tests were like night and day.
I'll be here throughout the day tomorrow (I am PST) if anyone wants to quiz. Actually all week during normal business hours. Will be moving and dealing with that at night time this week, though.
I'm still here samdiego. I took a 3 hour nap this afternnon so I'm good to go if you want to quiz. If not, I'm just going to keep reading over my notes.
