I have been thinking if I should just do progress tests and pick up on my weak areas or redo the homework as recommended by Becker. Progress tests might not be in depth as the homework questions? any suggestions?

to be completely honest, I would strongly recommend redoing all the homework. I mean ALL of it.

I know, I know, it sucks…. and it's much easier just to do progress tests… but it's the difference between passing and failing. The progress tests just pick random topics and most likely won't cover everything you need to know.

Don't spend too much time on the 2 final review exams that becker provides in the software. in my opinion, they're ridiculously harder than the actual exam and they will just discourage you. i did the MCQ portion of the first final exam and then stopped becuase it was dumb.

There's so much material on FAR that if you don't re-do all homework, you will tend to forget many things. Hope this helps!

Absolutely do progress tests. If you're anything like me and you try to do all the homework again, you'll end up half way through chapter 5, 2 days left till your exam, and forgetful of 70% of the materials that chpt 1-4 covers. I could barely get through all the hmwrk once and didn't even always do that but I passed because the progress tests randomize the questions(good if u have trouble with retention) AND weight their questions towards chptrs that are more often tested.

Thx for the replies, I came up with the idea of setting the progress test to select 30 questions from each chapter. and maybe go through 3 chapters a day. So about 90 questions. Then maybe do 60 question progress tests to review till exam day.

Okay guys so my retake is friday. I have went thru EVERYTHING twice and now am just doing progress test. I am getting in the 80s on 90 question progress test. What is everyone's thoughts on the 2012 becker practice test? I took them last time but I don't know if they are really helpful. I feel like they are really difficult and tend to just stress you out. Just looking for the best use of the next 2 days.
