    Hey guys,

I applied for my NTS during school and took the FAR exam on Aug. 19. I haven't received my score yet, so I called the CPA exam services today. They told me that because I need to ask my school to mail in an official transcript to prove I graduated with the classes I said I would, they can't release my FAR score online until they received it. I can't see how score release from my last exam and lack of official transcript are connected though. Additionally, they said if they receive the official transcript by next Wednesday, they probably won't have enough time to release my score online, because they have to "clear all the scores for October". But october scores won't be released until Nov. or December. I'm so confused.

Can anyone explain this to me, please? Thanks!

iva – I am also in WA with no score 🙁

I am completely freaking out. This is my last section and I am frustrated that just about everyone else seems to have their score already! I was told by Castle via email to be patient and that all scores will be posted by Sept 30. I guess now we just wait….

NASBA just told me I may need to wait until October 15th!

You know, this is just terrible.

And then, I will have to contact them again if my score doen't come through.

Is WA a NASBA state? I thought it was independent.

Thanks Jeff. How in the world are you to blame for their delay? Even if you are a few days off, it's so much better to have a general idea. Before I found this site I was convinced the wait was 60 days minimum, because that is what my state board website says. You give us hope, so what if it's a day or two off. Thanks for all you do. PS. Writing would be my career if I didn't make it in the accouting world, so if you ever want to expand the site and need contributors let me know! Happy to help.

    Hey Jeff,

Do you have any idea when we, the "borderline ones" will get our scores?

I see people from AUD getting desperate, too. My first one was BEC and I failed with 74. I took the test at the beginning of the testing window and my score was released with W2b. Talking about cruelty. However, when I had some time to study, I passed BEC and AUD with 88 and I am waiting for FAR. I spent too much time on the memos and I didn't finish my 2nd SIM. So, I can understand a borderline score, but I would appreciate an end to this anxiety, because I feel really sick all day long.

    Hey everybody,

First of all congrats to everyone whos been posting that they've passed a few parts or the entire CPA and to those that have not yet keepp trying you'll get there!

I had a questions if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated because i'm lost at this point. Here's the scenario.

I'm out here in MA and have taken the firs two parts of the CPA…FAR on 7/27/09 and AUD on 8/26/09. I have not received either scores yet so at first I assumed that I was in Wave 2 for FAR because i thought one simulaton was new (wasn't completely sure) when calling NASBA I found out that my scores have arrived but were not released because I only had a certificate of evulation form, when I thought they received my updated transcript. I just sent in an updated transcript showing that I graduated and had over 120 credits (forgot to put jurisdiction id but it had my name etc). Does anyone know how long my scores may take to be released because I believe they received the transcripts on friday sept 25. And also will I have to waste more money and request a score reprint form since the testing window that I took the test in is over?? If Jeff or anyone could help me with this issue again it would be GREATLYY APRRECIATED. Thanks everyone!

MA is a 150 credit state (not sure if that is a typo in your message) and I think that the transcripts may have to come from your school to be official and not from you. When I sent in my application, I had to have my transcripts sent from the schools that I went to, not from me. You may want to call on Monday and check if the transcript needs to be sent directly from the school.

Hey Jeff… When are you releasing your predictions for next window. I may schedule exams around your predictions since you have a decent record of being spot on.

    I feel for you, CEEPEEAY-NY.

A few of us are still waiting for scores and very anxious. 74 is beyond cruel, I've been there before with BEC – I had to wait for 3 months, because I took it at the beginning of the testing window and got my result at the end of the scoring month. Luckily, it was my first, so it didn't affect my 18-month window. As you know, BEC is maybe the most boring exam of them all so I was really upset. However, after devoting 2 weeks of stright studying in the summer, I passed BEC and AUD with high scores. FAR was long and had too much stuff to study, but my real problem was time management at the exam + I got a panick attack somewhere after MC 3 (just was tired I guess) and couldn't proceed for a while.

I may have to face this again. However, staying calm and reminding ourselves that the one exam of them all that is the most important to a CPA is probably FAR, so even if we have to do it again, it's not a waste of time. I would advise you to take it at the end of the testing window – last week of November, so you won't have to wait for scores too long.

Take care and all the best to you!
