Contribution vs Support

    I’m studying NFP accounting for FAR, and I’m getting confused with when to use Contribution vs Support for journal entries.

    Example:

    When do I use (CR) Contributions – with donor restriction and (CR) Donor-restricted support

    Also, I’ve enjoyed using Becker, but am I the only one that thinks Becker’s section for NFP is terrible at teaching the concepts?

    AUD - 86
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - 86
    REG - NINJA in Training
    AUD and BEC completed, haven't taken REG and BEC
