What happens when you buy becker software?

Should I buy it from somone on amazon for cheaper!?!?

No – you should buy it directly from them.

Becker's software expires after 18 months. When you buy from someone other than the company, you don't know how long they have owned it already. For all you know, there may be 1-2 months left on the software. After the expiration, it just won't work any longer.

Honestly, even if you ask them how long is remaining on the license, you don't know who you can trust out there, so it seems very risky to know for sure.

I'd buy only from the company. I'm using Becker and I think the BEST part of their program is the ability to email them questions about the material – as many questions as you need with no limit. So, if you don't buy directly from them, you can't use their support department.

In regard to Becker…has anyone had any experience with the Becker promise? I'm needing to use it for at least one section. It's been a tough year and I wasn't able to take many tests. I passed BEC, but failed REG. I did finish the 2011 program for REG. I am currently going through the 2011 program for Audit and FAR, and am registered for both next window, but technically my 365 days expires at the end of April.

So my questions are:

1) Can anyone tell me if they'll provide the next year's program pretty easily?

2) If it's worth it? (I kind of like the thoroughness of Wiley which I have also.)

3) If I need to request it before the 365 days or only give them my score report for the program? (I'm not really sure if I'll need it yet for FAR and AUD.) Also, should I submit it way in advance of the 365 days?

islandcpa85, Becker is pricey but offers an installment payment through an automatic monthly deduction in your account. This is how i paid for mine.

I Too Shall Pass, I have 2011 version (purchased last year). I used it for FAR and will be using it for BEC, Reg, Audit. I just update the information through Becker's website.
