Hi everyone! Long time reader, first time poster..

I took FAR yesterday, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I’m not sure if I passed, but I thought I prepared enough for it. My weak areas were government, NFP, and pensions. Sure enough, there was a good amount of questions. I’m using the Becker and their final review course. On top of that, I tutored undergrads beginning financial accounting and I feel that’s the best method of studying. If you can get students who have never taken accounting to understand bonds payables using effective interest method, you’re good to go.

Last night, my dream was about me taking on MCQ’s. Throughout the day, whenever I hear numbers, I think of them in years and break them down into months for depreciation in my head just automatically. Has anybody ever experienced the same thing?

Anyways, I look forward to contributing to this board. You guys really keep me motivated by your hard work and dedication. If I feel like I’m slacking, I just come to this board and pick right back up.

Thanks everyone, good luck with your studying

When I was studying intensely for FAR I would dream about it often. Since I've started the CPA exam, I think I've become a much more anxious test taker which has even manifested itself into my courses like the finals that I have coming up which has never really happened in the past.

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

    USC MAcc- Fight on!

They say good things come to those who wait, but only those things that are left by those who hustle.
