    I took FAR yesterday. I studied for more than 300 hours but in the end I think I messed up with the test. The first 4 testlets were like a piece of cake and I did really well except for the research question , but I ended up spending way much time than required. In the last testlet, I completed approx. 1.5 sim and ended up leaving 1.5 sim completely blank because I ran out of time. Please advice what are the chances of me passing the test. I have it my all and I knew it all except for the time management. This is my last section and I didn’t expect to end this way.

    Thanks for the advice

    Not sure if there's much advice to give other than to wait for your score. Trying to analyze the chances of passing is pointless and wasted energy. It won't change your score, it will only change your emotional state and stress you out, which isn't worth it.

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training

    Frankly, no one really knows the chance of you passing the exam UNTIL you get your score…. I'm sure you did well. It's difficult not knowing whether you passed or not, but you need to shift your focus on something else for the time being.

    Yes, it’s possible to pass still. I didn’t finish REG and passed with a 77. I ran out of time and had two SIMS left. I knew I was not going to finish so I put random answers. It’s possible one of those two that I guessed on may have been a pre-test. No way of knowing. However, I was 90% confident on most of the MCQ and 80% confident on the SIMS that I was able to get through. If you think you did good on MCQ and decent on the SIMS you did finish, keep your head up!! 🙂 There’s hope for you!

    These days, it's harder to pass if you leave 3-4 SIMs blank. How many SIMS are on FAR now? 8 right, including the research question? In the old days, you could pass by nailing the MCQ and doing 1-2 SIMs only (especially on BEC – if you had about 90% of the MCQ correct, you didn't have to do well on the WC's). Not anymore, for any of the parts. You do have to budget your time though!
    1.5 min per MCQ, ideally no more than 1 min. Cross your fingers, you probably passed. If 1 of the 1.5 you left blank was the non-operational pre-test SIM, you probably passed.

    I think it's best to leave it alone for now until score release. If you have other sections to take, focus on studying for the next one-that is sure to take your mind off FAR:)

    @crazyleon

    Yes, there are 8 sims in FAR now including research question.

    @anyatver

    This is my last section, so it is hard to get it off my head.

    @wannabcpa19-I know how you feel-have been in this predicament twice since November:) You can choose to keep studying until score release, but I would just give yourself a much needed break! 🙂

    @satyakatiwal

    I am 100% confident on my mcq’s. I didn’t get even a single mcq wrong, but I am not sure on the grading of my blank sims.

    Most likely you will pass. I know one friend who scored 81 and his MCQ were comparable, SIMs more less like you and on 8th March he got 81.Had u solved all SIMs you would be getting 97.expect pass .
