I don't think I've ever heard of anyone getting their scores changed during the appeals process.

Yes. I just recently posted about one incident that I read on here about a year ago. She got 1 more point, which gave her a pass on all 4 exams before they expired. She and her mother (who died during her exam journey) had both been extremely ill. She had a 74 on her last one, and she was about to lose credit on all of them. Thankfully they said OK. But that is very, very rare. The cost of appealing is not worth it. Take it again in the next window.

@crazyleon: Wow, really! What a relief for that girl! That's the first time I heard that they gave a 1 point bump considering the circumstances. I have only heard of people getting deadline extensions due to health issues or death in the family.

@Satya-so sorry to hear that! I would agree with Jeff and say the appeal isn't going to get you anywhere….You are very close if that's any consolation, you will get there next time! Your time and money is probably better spent studying….

No point in reviewing, just take it again it costs the same anyway, I'm sure you'll get at least one point higher next time.

@anyatver , thanks. By mistake I calculated denominator wrong and the whole SIM got wrong.
I saw that at the end of exam when there was no time to fix. I wish had I not made that error I would have got at least 1 more mark.
One big SIM I kept for last n I couldn’t finish that . I wish I would’ve solved this long one instead of wrong denominator SIM.
It seems one sim I had solved was taken as pretest .
Reading FAR again unsettling when I see the same topic I saw in exam.

I did know someone who was successful with a review or appeal (can't remember which one it was), but he said the reasoning for the bump was because it was the first time he failed and he passed the other three with scores in the 90's and I think he had a hand or arm injury causing him to not complete the exam in time. But besides rare situations like that, it seems near impossible to get a score bumped up from a review or appeal.
