Hi, I took the FAR today. Honestly speaking, I don’t think it is hard at all and finished within 3 hours. But I am a little concerned since I heard most people have pretty intense time frame. I am wondering if I did too poor on my testlet 1 so they gave me easy questions afterwards? Has anyone finished the exam in a 3 or 3.5 hours?

    AUD - 91
    BEC - 90
    FAR - 93
    REG - 94
The best is yet to come..

    FAR - 93 (08/24/2014 - First down!)
    AUD - 91 (11/21/2014 - Second down!!)
    BEC - 90 (02/26/2015 - Third down!!!)
    REG - 94 (05/29/2015 - Touch down!!!!!)

    Here comes my touch down!

Exactly 3 hours for me. I got through the MCQ in 1 hour and spent a full 2 hours on the SIMs. The SIMs just took a lot of time to work through but I feel OK on the whole thing.

I know it isn't far, but I started Audit at 6 pm on 8/31 and walked out at 8 pm. 81 score.

If you think you know the stuff, I wouldn't fret about time.

    Bec-76 (7/14)
    Aud-81 (8/14)
    Reg-82 (7/15)
    Far- 82 (10/15)

Most people finish AUD with considerable time left. FAR is another story.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I took the entire four hours, leaving only about 5 minutes to check over my sims, with no breaks taken. I was pretty sure I would be retaking the test next month up until the scores finally came, since I felt I bombed the Sims and that demonic second testlet. I guess the moral is that there is nothing peculiar to look out for in terms of time, how hard you found it, etc, and to just wait for the score.

    FAR (8/17/14) - 86
    AUD (8/22/14) - 90
    BEC (8/31/14) - 86
    REG (2/29/16) - 90

I know @Kimbroni. But I did the same with BEC and passed. And I will finish FAR the same way on October 11. I am a fast test taker if I know my stuff. I don't sit there and spend more time than I need to, and I don't second guess answers.

I read my question slowly, as what is it is asking, and then ready each answer. I pick the one that is the best. I move on.

Before this is over I will have finished an hour early on each section. An hour and half early on bec, 2 on aud, atleast 1 on both Reg and Far

    Bec-76 (7/14)
    Aud-81 (8/14)
    Reg-82 (7/15)
    Far- 82 (10/15)

Moral of the story, don't do your CPA while working in Big 4 Public Accounting.
