Hi everyone. I need some advice for studying for FAR.

Let me set the preface. I have REG and AUD passed but my REG exam expires 3/31/19. Therefore I need to pass FAR and BEC before tax season and I need to pass them on the first try! (Please note it took me 3 times to pass REG and twice to pass AUD).

I want to take FAR August 31. I am looking for any and all advice on how to pass on the first try! Am I leaving myself enough time to study by taking it August 31?

    Thanks!

    AUD - 84
    REG - 76
FAR - Waiting for December 11 score release
BEC - Scheduled for December 5

I think 2 months is enough if you are really dedicated. How many hours a week can you study? I suggest incorporating comprehensive review after each section you cover so everything stays fresh. I spent about 2 weeks reviewing everything after I'd gotten through it and I wish I'd done more reviewing all along. The most effective method in FAR for me was writing and re-writing and re-writing. Write your notes by hand at least 2 times, and make your own flashcards. Practice as many MCQs you can, and practice sims on your trouble areas until you understand them fully. 🙂

    FAR - 85 (12/17)
    AUD - 80 (1/18)
    REG - 83 (6/18)
    BEC - 85 (7/18)

    Ethics - 95

    DONE DONE DONE DONE
