So I’m a first time test taker and had a question regarding the format for the FAR Exam. A lot of websites have given me different information on how many MCQ’s and TBS’s we get. For example, some websites have said FAR gets 8 TBS and other have said we have 7 TBS of which 1 is a pretest. I’ve also heard if they put a lot of DRS questions, we get 1 less sims question (I doubt this is true though). What is the actual format?

For DRS- Is it basically a huge M.C. question? Or does it require you to put in numbers in the blanks? Or is it a combination of both? Any suggestions on what to do if you get too many DRS’s/run out of time or how to tackle these questions in general?

Also, I’m not seeing that many practice TBS’s for the first couple chapters of Becker’s review course and it says it’s 20-30% heavily tested. Does anyone know where I can go to find more new practice TBS’s for Accounting estimates and changes, reconciliations, and consolidations? I’ve found MCQ’s but thats about it.
