Hello, I just had FAR this Tuesday, this is my first exam. I am using Surgent and the exam layout was totally different from what i expected. Eight Simulations were given which i was not aware of ( i thought there will be 7) plus Simulations were much harder than the review course (or maybe i am use to the practice questions), I had no idea how to solve some of them but i am pretty sure i messed up in four of them. Any advice from someone who had the same experience and they passed/failed the exam. I also believe i messed up in some of the MCQ’s . Please comment, Thank You.

I was using Surgent when I started studying and I will tell you they absolutely suck. It absolutely does not prepare you for the exam. I failed FAR with Surgent and then I switched to Becker. I increased my skill set and understanding dramatically with Becker! Also, Surgent's customer service sucks too. I emailed after I failed and they said just to keep doing the questions I was weak in. Problem was, I was starting to memorize them. They said thats all they recommend and to take it again because I may have had a “bad test day”. Also, I contacted customer service several times regarding the issues of it not being effective and was ignored. Couldn't get my money back, but I made a commitment to help students to NOT use Surgent! Anyways, mid-way, switched to Becker and increased my score dramatically. Got a 73 because I wasn't able to complete all of the material in Becker in time for my exam! But, the fact I didn't even go over everything in Becker and being that close showed me a change. Just took it again yesterday!
