Want to know what a few people here think and have possibly gotten in the past…took my FAR exam today. First testlet wasn’t as easy as everyone has been saying but also not too difficult. The second testlet was definitely harder…then the third in my opinion was so easy it was like an insult…Sims I think I did very well on…was 90-100% on 3…about 80% on another…and then 25-50% on the other 2…one was impossible and i’m assuming it was a pretest…literally one of the most impossible questions i have ever seen.

Just want to know if anyone has had an experience where they had a 3rd testlet that was a joke and still passed FAR…and I’m not just saying my kind of easy, I’m saying short, sweet questions you do when you are studying that you just wished you were on your exam because they are too simple and too good to be true.

Judging by all your solid scores you probably just knew the material well. Again, as many say, the perception of “easy” questions varies.

I didn't find my testlets super hard and scored in the 90s. I knew the SIMs pretty well. REG however was a different story.

@Lucky11189 Yes! I took FAR yesterday, and wow. First testlet-ok. Second testlet-hard. Third testlet-walk in the park. I went back through every single one just because I had time and felt awesome about it.

Then the SIMS absolutely murdered me :(. I would say I got maybe 1 fully right, 2 or 3 partially correct, and the rest were blind guessing.

My far experience was pretty similar. Test 1 was a joke. Testlet 2 was kind hard but only because of the obscure items they were asking. 3 was pretty hard but mostly due to the questions all required long calculations. Those sims though… You could literally study for years and still get them wrong.

I had a pretty similar FAR experience as the original poster. First testlet was pretty manageable. There were probably around 5 I was not sure of. Second test was more difficult I felt. Had quite a few I wasn't certain of. Third testlet seemed shockingly easy. I felt as I knew almost all of these. As I was working through the third testlet, I could not help but feel that I must have bombed the earlier testlets. SIMS were manageable for the most part, but SIMS have never been my strong suit. This would potentially be my final exam. If I do not pass, I will lose credit for BEC. I received a 74 on FAR last time, so I have been tantalizingly close to being completely finished. I have people that have had a similar experiences but I don't know if any of these people passed and this is scaring me…

Had the same experience as you except I was CERTAIN the simulations took my lunch money. Ended up with an 88 (only saying that because signatures are gone)

My experience on 08-13-14 was also pretty similar to the OP. The third testlet was stupid-easy. I flagged 0 questions, they were relatively short conceptual questions, and I finished like in 20-25 minutes.
