Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share where I am at right now and hopefully people could give some real input on their opinion on what I should do.

So as the title says I am taking FAR on the 27th of August. I am using Wiley CPAexcel book. The problem is I started studying back in early May, and haven’t been consistent since(working-full time/not being as motivated as I should be). I would say the last couple weeks I’ve been better but I usually read the whole chapter, do the MCQ, and do the SIMs. I type some notes per chapter but i wouldnt say they are great and I don’t know if I am really going to revisit them. I am very bad at note taking when learning new material. Some Chapters take me longer since I do try to understand the material. I am currently on page 700ish learning Business combinations, I am positive by the 17th of this month I will have been able to gone through the whole book. Keep in mind I started early May so a lot of the old material I dont remember but I am sure when I review I will be able to absorb things much faster.

So after I would have to basically review everything and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a point of attack. I would have roughly 7 days and I will be taking time off work and studying around 8hrs a day till the exam(hopefully more). I also plan on purchasing the WTB and also have Ninja Notes. Should I re-read the chapters and re-do the MCQ in the Wiley CPA excel book with also working on the WTB and Ninja MCQs? Anyone find themselves in this position? I am just venting and wanted to see if anyone had been in the same position. I really wanna pass FAR the first time. Any advice would be great!
