I just got my score today 39. I am so shocked.. I thought I did pretty good especially with MC questions and research questions the rest I was just guessing. This was my first exam but I never thought I would score this low. I worked only with Wiley Book and did all the released questions also.I didn’t practice sims.. but uhhhhhhhhhh I am so embarrassed to even tell my parents

That is so true about how words in FAR will completely throw you off. Good luck on your exam, don't be scared to read through the question multiple times. I saw that issue more in Becker then in the actual exam, but none the less it is important to read the question multiple times if you are not completely sure as to what they are asking. I sat looking at one sentence reading it probably 10 times for multiple questions.

wow, this sounds crazy! After all that studying? 8-4 daily for 2 month?

Is it possible that there some system/computer error happened in Prometric?

And especially if you were scoring in 80s in WTB……

it just DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!!

Did you read a book? or just did MCQ and maybe memorized them and that's how your score was in the 80s?

    I just dont understand……

    AUD - 90
    FAR - 83
    BEC - 81
    REG - 80
    ETHICS - 100

The only reason that I am so shocked is because I study like crazy and had a very good understanding of the book. If it was that I didnt put my all effort on it and failed somewhere at 50-60 I wouldnt be suprise but 39. I even met people that didnt even study they just tried out and still got more than me. I didnt practice any simulations but its not that I left it blank at least I did the research question right. I am using CPAexcel book just to get extra idea for whatever I lost it in the first one. I am seriously so bored working on the same questions at Wiley since I worked those like 5 times and Its impossible to memorize 3000 questions I also worked released questions and Cpareviewforfree and I was doing at 80′ …. I seriously thing this is a big mistake… Ok I failed not a problem.. but with 39… I guess doesnt matter anymore I am ready to go for it again… where should I get some extra questions. I dont want to spend a lot of money for it..I always went with this is not the review to do a lot is about studying and knowing the material well

First section … I was like this is a joke so easy.. 2nd one a lil bit harder nothing like I never seen it… 3rd one got even easier.. for simulations I have no freaking idea what the hell I did…lol but 39..And just to request a review of your score it cost 200$ and 1% chance of changing it….No thanks I rather sit again

All of those questions that you worked 5 times, it is possible to memorize them w/o you realizing. If I go over a question twice and do a progress test down the road, I may not remember the exact answer, but I remember that I did do this problem and remember bits and pieces that end up helping me choose the correct answer, which is why I recommend getting a new test bank. I wouldn't recommend going over the same problem no more than 2 times, 3 times tops.

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, and Ninja 10 Point Combo!

    FAR: 89
    REG: 87
    AUD: 92
    BEC: 75
    Ethics: 90

Well, we'll, we'll. all I can say is OMG….l just finished my FAR test my first time taking FAR. The MCQs were based on maybe 4 or 5 topics. And guess what? The topics were my weak areas and small areas. But I answered as best as I could and made educated guesses on the rest. I took a 7 mins break went to restroom, eat a donut and had my coffee that was hot but was now cold and went back in to finish my 3 MCQs section and the sims.

The SIMS oh my…..so long and wordy with different sections that you have to do before you arrive at the answers. Major calculations and filling in my own answers. Journal entries galore and no topics that I could manage confidently. I think I got the research question correct but not sure what I did for the others.

All I can say I am going to work on my weak areas that I figure out from my inability to answers the questions and retake in July 2014 with Auditing in August 2014.

Next time I will bring it on.

    Good luck all.
