because wiley sims(or any review course sims) will only prepare you so much and you will never see anything close to those sims on the exam.

I'm getting really nervous. I take FAR in 5 days. When I do mini progress tests in Becker I score in the 70's. When I do Wiley MCQs I score only in the 60-70 range. Someone please comfort me and tell me Wiley questions are harder than the exam lol. Even though I don't know if that's possible. These last 5 days I'm just concerned with banging out as many MCQs and re-reading my notes over and over.

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

@Peanut – Just remember that it doesn't really matter what percentage of multiple choice questions you get right on the practice tests. All you have to do is go in there and score better than 55% of the people taking the test. Just keep focusing on the content of the exam and less on your score. Do each MCQ with the intent of making sure you understand why you go the question right or wrong. Your score on the exam will take care of itself.

Peanut – I having the same issue as you on Audit. But I agree with Minimorty. Don't worry about the score just the questions.

I used Wiley test bank for REG and FAR. REG I was scoring in the upper 70s and got an 82 on the exam. FAR I was scoring in the lower 60s and got an 80, I think their questions are harder or the exam grading means a low 60s is good for an 80.

Same here killaking. Was scoring well on the progress tests, sims definitely were my downfall but I will say that had I done a little better on the multiple choice I wouldve pulled it out. I think for my retake I will hit wiley and becker and still try and get a feel for as many multiple choice as possible, try my best to understand the material, and then from there just hope for some not too ridiculous sims.

I can honestly say I don't know how to prepare for the sims, it seems like none of the review programs remotely prepare you for them. By the way has REG always been like this? I know for FAR and AUD I sat in 2010 and didn't have such ridiculous sims…its a helpless feeling really, knowing you can prepare and still come up short just because the SIMs are beyond anything you've covered or practiced for. People mention using the research function for the sims—which I did in fact try but didn't have much luck. Not sure what other strategy to do other than try and CRUSH the MC.

Also is it me or is the research portion incomplete? I cant find some of the answers when looking?

What is the difference in buying the test bank cd or the actual wiley review book. I would like to know if it is worth it to spend the extra money to get the test bank cd when i already have the book. Thanks

definately get a test bank. It tests your comprehension of the material. You don't know if you truly understand the material until you go through the practice questions. I have been really happy with Gleim and they're super cheap.

    FAR 82
    AUD 81 (2007), 73, 80
    REG 68 (2010), 76
    BEC 58 (2007), 75 DONE!!!!
