Wiley improvements

Recently Wiley added STUDY mode for TBS problems.

This helps a lot and cuts down the time for having to re-read some long problems after getting the solution. We get the answer right after finishing all the lines of the TBS before moving to the next TBS.

Also, when doing MCQ in EXAM mode, you were only able to see the answer for the selection you chose.

Now they changed it and allow you to see all answers after you are done with your quiz. This aspect is like STUDY mode. The benefit for EXAM mode is during your final review if you want to time your speed for completing a testlet. Otherwise, STUDY MODE is more efficient time wise.

I just noticed the study mode, but I haven't used it. Wiley's TBS are time consuming because they will give you eight TBS in one session. I had a eight problem WC and a eight problem TBS in one day along with a diagnostic.

    BEC - 77

    BEC - 70, 77
    FAR - 70, 70, 76
    REG - 70, 80
(I used WileyCPA and Ninja-FAR only)

It took almost two years, but I am now finished with my CPA exams.

You can choose how many TBS you want to do if you use the Test Bank instead of the TBS Assessments at the end of the sections.

I am doing 5 right now but I could have done even fewer if I had less time. In the past it was frustrating because it was fixed at a certain # of TBS in the Test Bank for a certain topic but now they allow more flexibility.

It’s the TBS that part of the lesson plan so I have to do them. ☹️☹️ I usually do the test bank after I complete the lessons.

I really like that change. It seems like they also gave an additional option to sort out testbank questions that you haven't answered from questions that you have answered on both MCQs and TBSs. This is a positive. I distinctly remembering having to flag all my questions when preparing for FAR because that wasn't an option for both at the time.

    FAR-Mar 9,2020 (failed 71), retest May 21
BEC-Passed(I had a few stops and starts because I was studying during my busy season. Lost track of my study stats.)
    AUD-Passed(8 weeks,1877 MCQs, and 38 TBSs)-Wiley
    REG-Passed(10 weeks, 2000 MC)-Wiley

    @Luis A. Gonzalez

I do not have the issue you are talking about.

Did you purchase your Wiley program a few years ago?

If so, your system may be out of date and that is why you are getting that message.

All you would have to do is call Wiley customer service and tell them you want to update your system and verify some of your initial purchase info. They should take it from there.

If you signed up for Wiley more recently your problem may be something else completely. Either way, I would call customer service.
