Does anyone else feel that the Wiley study material does a piss poor job with Non-for-Profits and Gov. I have gone over the material a few times taken notes and still seem to get confused and do poorly on the multiple choice. Is it me or the material?

I used Wiley as my primary tool for FAR, and I was also getting tripped up on certain MCQs over and over up until test day, which was frustrating for me also. What I can say is that to know the material on a broad level. Just before my exam someone mentioned that a Wiley representative recommended to be more familiar with the materials near the top of the study lessons (generally the overview), and from my experience I agree with that assessment. If it's small, super specific items that are tripping you up, I wouldn't worry about it.

I got a 90 on FAR and used Wiley exclusively to study. The Gov't stuff is just really different from other accounting, so that's what was the most difficult. As @sbny2k17 said, just understand concepts. Know DRIP CEG PIPPA and all of the funds that make up Gov't accounting.

Also the week before the test I pulled up the FS from a couple of municipalities just to see what they looked like. I think it drives home how it works.
