Were you taking notes on the ones you got wrong as you went through the MCQs? If so, I would read over that entire section of notes again and then take another quiz. Rarely do I go back and reread an entire module unless I really just don't understand anything.

Yeah mark the ones I get wrong then I circle the ones I'm not sure about to go over later. It's for AUD so I'm trying to avoid reading the standards twice but I don't mind reading the module stuff more than once. I just wanted to see what other would do. Thanks!

I agree with CPAMommyof3. I read every module once. I did not reread any of the modules entirely. Only the parts I didn't feel comfortable with after doing the MCQ.

For me, the most valuable learning tool was the explanation provided about why a particular MCQ answer was correct and why the other three answers were incorrect. I read every word of every explanation. Even the ones I got right. I wanted to make sure I got them right for the proper reason.

We are all different, but it worked for me.

    AUD 85 (Feb 6)

    BEC ?? (Feb 21)

    FAR Apr 4

    REG Apr/May

I am not sure about Wiley's copy and paste features, but I copy the answers and explanations that I get wrong with Cpaexcel/Becker and then print them out. I know this might seem like a waste of paper since you can flag these problems, but I find that once I have all of the problems in a binder I can go through them really fast.

Go over the binder once a day and the material you first got wrong becomes the material you know best. The binder will get smaller as you take out the sheets that you know you will never get wrong again. I also find this method helpful, because you can mix up the problems and then you don't know what sub section your working on. At least with Becker and Cpaexcel the subsection header is a huge hint of what type of answer you are looking for.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

You could try writing an explanation to each problem using your own words instead of writing what Wiley has verbatim. That helped me tremendously. It didn't matter how many times I got a problem or a particular type of problem wrong, I wrote my paragraph or page or whatever until I knew why the right answer was right and the wrong answers were wrong.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I'll just reread the stuff I really don't get then do the mcqs a bunch of times for everything else.
