I’ve been waiting a while to be able to post here and it feels like it still hasn’t hit me yet that I’m officially done. My wife will be giving birth to our first daughter in the next couple of weeks sometime and I’m so excited to not have to be studying 3 hours a day once she arrives. For anyone else seeing this, there’s no reason you can’t pass. Ive been out of college for about 4 years so I have havent seen a lot of these concepts in 6 or 7 years depending when i took the class and I don’t have any work experience in public accounting or the big 4. It really is all about discipline and not smarts.I would consider very few topics on the exam as overly difficult and in reality most things I found difficult i saw very little of on the exam. I studied 3 hours a day for 5 days a week over the 11 months using only Surgent cpa review to get to this point. (I would definitely recommend this program, it was a reasonable price and I always felt prepared prepared). I didn’t have have to up my social life, I was able to be as involved with my wifes pregnancy and even purchase and do some work on our home in the process. It wasn’t nearly as bad as expected if you can stay committed and get a little lucky. THere definitely times of frustration and doubt but looking back now it was all worth it.
