UWorld Roger CPA Review Question-

well, I got my failing score from Audit (70) Feb. 3rd.. this is my last section and I have one more chance to pass in April or I lose FAR… I am thinking about supplementing Becker with a cram software or additional MCQs & Sims.

I havent gotten my score breakdown yet but I feel that I failed only because of the Sims for the 2nd consecutive time on Audit.

what do yall think about these Cram supplements or should I just get access to supplemental MCQs and Sims through another review provider?

Each have theirs ups and downs. Roger is more energetic and from what I heard, he makes the stuff interesting. However, Gary Bulmash from Yaeger is excellent, but he's dry in his lectures. Buy the course that you feel suits you best. What works for one person may not work for another. Haven't heard much about Wiley's Cram course, so I can't comment on that.

I also feel like I failed audit strictly based on the sims. I am using a supplemental test bank and am going to work tons of sims from the wiley book and test bank. I have done both the Yaeger cram and Roger cram for Audit and they won't help you much regarding the sims. They are both good reviews and in fact when I used the yaeager cram back in 2010 to improve my score of 50, I actually increased it 8 points. That being said, the crams don't really go into details and work sims for you. It's just strictly a fast paced cram version of the review course. They may go over a few problems but not like they do in the full courses.

For me I think I need to work tons of sims to learn the proper way of applying the knowledge I already have to the way the sims are asking for the information.

Hmm, thanks @Bnrhilton that kind of makes my decision a little easier. I feel that I have the MCQs down pretty well. I was using Becker and doing the 100 question tests w/o sims and was making mid to high 80s consistently…

just need some more practice on Sims. guess I will get the additional test bank.
