My UWorld Roger CPA Review access is expiring . For audit , i have 2014 text book with updates, can i use it for 2016 July exam or not. I heard people saying that July 2016 exam will test new format is this true. Or should i buy new book of 2016. Any one who is giving exam this window or in July for Audit ,please let me know. Any help is greately appropriated. My friend pass Audit in Feb using 2014 books with updates , but i am not sure if i can use it for 2016 July.

No need to buy a new book, Roger's site provides all the book updates you'll need. I'm using the 2014 Roger AUD book with the 2015 and 2016 updates. The 2016 Chapters 2 and 7 are completely different from the 2014 book, so if you haven't yet, be sure to download the complete 2016 updates (two chapters and a few additional pages) in addition to the 2015 updates (a handful of pages). I'm a week away from the AUD exam and using these materials, I'm trending 90% on the Ninja MCQs – you should be fine. The only change you'll see to the AUD exam in July 2016 is the addition of document review SIMS. The major exam changes won't be implemented until 2Q 2017.

As i mention before my roger is getting expired in 20 days.I already printed out chapter 2 and 7 and additional updates on 2015 and 2016.
I am right now preparing for BEC. I saw that you are done with BEC. So is roger book Q and software enough to pass BEC and Aud .

I can't confirm this, but I would guess that the AICPA will eventually provide examples of the new document review SIMS. And it's not like every SIM you'll see in July will be a document review – just one or (maybe) two.

However, I *can* confirm that Roger is sufficient to pass BEC in one sitting. I've been out of school for three years so I was essentially starting fresh on the material. I studied about 65 hours; 5 weeks going through the lectures and reading the book and another week and a half on the Ninja MCQs, but I only made it halfway through the adaptive phase.

“New Simulation to Debut on CPA Exam in July 2016

The Document Review Simulation (DRS), a form of task-based simulation, will debut on the Uniform CPA Examination in July 2016. The DRS was highlighted in the Exposure Draft, Maintaining the Relevance of the Uniform CPA Examination, and is included in the AUD, FAR and REG sections of the recently updated CPA Exam sample tests.

The DRS presents a realistic task that simulates what a newly licensed CPA might do on the job. The item features a primary document as well as related source materials for candidate review. Highlighted words, phrases, sentences or paragraphs in the DRS document may or may not be correct, requiring the candidate to select appropriate edits based on the relevant source materials.”

They don't sound too bad – you'll select answers from a pull-down menu.
