I have been studying with Becker and have fallen short twice on REG. Has anyone used UWorld Roger CPA Review CRAM for any exam that feels it offers more than Becker does. I know everything front and back in the becker book but always come up short, mostly due to the sims.
    Thanks!

I was having the same problem. I have taken REG 4 times now: 70, 71, 73 and just took it again this past Monday. I have been using Becker but found that Becker was not comparing the chapters/entities like the difference between S corp, C corp, Partnership and Individual taxation the way I needed it to.

I purchased the RogerCram course for REG and used it for the test I took on Monday, I felt good about it but we will see when the final score comes out. I enjoyed the cram material so much I am considering purchasing the cram course, if not the full course for FAR. I like they way he touches on just what is necessary and is constantly relating the topics so you can easily make the comparison. Testing does not come easy to me but I really enjoyed the Roger material over Becker. I also did not find watching the lectures in Becker helpful but found the 15-30 minute lectures in the Roger Cram course helpful and bearable.

I used Roger Cram course for FAR, I believe that's the reason I was able to pass it. I didn't complete all the lessons, but read and worked out most of the problems in the book. I will buy it for the other exams too.

    AUD - 80
    BEC - 73
    FAR - 78

I really cannot believe BEC is giving me such a hard time.

    FAR: 78 (5x)
    AUD: 80 (3x)
    BEC: 9/07/2016
    REG: 12/06/2016

Thanks for the feedback! Nicole 91390, let me know how your exam went! I am praying the cram course give me a new outlook on the material and better allows me to apply the information to the sims. I also am going to study those during my review for the first time…gotta change something!

I did the cram course for REG as well, but I didn't find it partiularly helpful. It cleared up some things, but it didn't really make a difference and I only improved my score by a point.. The lectures are more entertaining than becker's, but that was really the only difference.

I've heard awesome things about the Ninja REG MCQ, so personally I'm going try that.

    FAR - 76 Oct 2015 (Becker)
    REG - 87 Apr 2016 (Becker + Ninja MCQ) - 3rd time's the charm!
    AUD - 82 Feb 2016 (Becker)
    BEC - 85 May 2016 (Becker)
