ParticipantI just finished all of the videos from the Roger CPA Review Course and I want to spend the next 30 days hammering the MCQs and SIMS from Ninja and Roger. Should I invest in the Cram course for extra help as well or is Ninja and Roger enough by themselves? I used Becker and Ninja for REG and BEC and passed them on the first try. Becker and Roger are a bit different so I can't tell how prepared I am for the exam yet.

InactiveRoger's audio course is the voice recording of his cram and I have used the audio so far. The cram book is a condensed version of his regular textbook and all chapters, sections and practice questions are lined up the same in the cram/audio course as the regular course therefore, following the audio course is not a problem.
I listen most of the audio during regular study while commute and listen them one more time at final review. Crucial thing is to go over the IPQs one more time as he recommends. If you have a week or two for the exam and not feeling comfortable, I would recommend sticking with Roger's IPQs.
Hope these help. Good luck in the exam!

ParticipantI bought the Becker Final review, their version of a cram course and I honestly don't think it was worth the money. It was useful, don't get me wrong. But it was pricy for the benefit I received from it. If you did a really good job of taking notes throughout the regular Becker text and summarizing each chapter, it would resemble the Becker Final review. I suspect Roger's cram course might be similar in that regard.

ParticipantI don't know if this will be helpful, but for every exam I wanted to buy the Roger Cram, but never did. Another user on here always said, “make sure you know everything you have first before considering buying something else and spending extra money.” So, I always did that and focused on what I had (NINJA Notes, Flashcards, MCQ) and passed.

InactiveI've debated buying the FAR Roger cram course but chances are almost zero that I will. It seems like it's just an up-sell. His vids are great – he always tells you which areas get a lot of testing, in the videos, so if you know what all those are, I don't think you need to buy the cram course. Just study those heavily-tested areas and you will probably be ok. Now, having said that, I see a lot of people on here who use Roger *and* Ninja. I'm sure Ninja is good but I don't know if I will spend the money on it. If I flunk a section, I'll probably do it. But, I have talked to plenty of people who just used Becker or just used Roger or whatever, no cram or extra stuff, and eventually passed or passed on 1st try.
