Hi Everyone,

I am starting my BEC exam review this week. My UWorld Roger CPA Review material expired on Dec 6th. It will cost me an additional 350$ to buy the new one. If you’re a current Roger student, and have conquered BEC already, do you recommend I buy the new Roger materials so I can view the videos or I can survive with just Roger lecture book? Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you been through the lectures already? if so then you can probably survive with just the book. Or call them and ask if you can get a discount on the cram version if the one you have is the full version. That way you can get a quick review of it all

Jeff, it depends on if you have the online version or the usb version and if it is full course or cram. The online cram is only good for two months but the full online course is good for 1 year. The usb full course is good for 1 year The usb cram course is good for 8 months. You can get a six month extension for 300 but that is only for the full four course usb, you can't get an extension on an individual course.

I've used Roger for all four sections and at times supplemented with Jeff's notes and audio. Since you have Roger's book, I recommend using that and the Ninja audio. I took REG on 12/7. I prepared by watching Roger's videos, reading his book and listening to Ninja audio. That was the first exam for which I used the Ninja audio and I really found it beneficial because I could listen to it in the car, at the gym, etc., and it was concise. I was actually listening to it on the way to the exam and Jeff covered stock wash sales, which I can't say I could have even told you what they were prior to listening to the audio.

In hindsight, I would have used the Ninja audio for all four sections.

I went a different route with the ninja products … Free updates until you pass.

I'm using expired Rogers. They give you book updates(PDF's of pages that changed). So I read the book, takes notes and supplement with NINJA. I passed FAR with a 2010 books, updates, Wiley Test Bank and NINJA audio. It's possible.
