For those who have used theUWorld Roger CPA Review Course, would you suggest to buy all 4 or only select CPA Exam sections? I am currently studying for REG and AUD and debating if I want to purchase all 4 topics or just the videos for AUD and REG? I have Becker but was going to use Becker’s (free from my company) questions to practice.

im personally glad i bit the bullet way back when and bought all 4. Laying down nearly 2k wasnt fun, but in hindsight its probably some of the best money i have spent recently if not ever. I think laying down that much really made me pot-committed to this whole process. Had I picked and chosen sections I dont know if I would have been that motivated to charge through all of this.

I can see the benefits of both routes….on the one hand you get bulk savings and the point I make above. On the other side you don't start the 18 month countdown on the course license for the sections you don't plan to touch for 6 – 9 months.

Good luck to you in this process whatever you decide.

It's definitely cheaper if you buy the whole package, but if you aren't sure whether you'll want to stick with it, maybe go one at a time. I bought a whole package and so far have taken FAR and started studying for AUD. I've heard from many people that his AUD course is the best and his REG is not as good…

So far I really like the course for what it's worth. However the MCQs are not the best, and I supplemented with Ninja for FAR. 🙂

    FAR - 85 (12/17)
    AUD - 80 (1/18)
    REG - 83 (6/18)
    BEC - 85 (7/18)

I recommend you to buy 4 parts and just focusing on one material for text book & vdo studying. Otherwise, you might get confused. Just my opinion, starting 18 months countdown would help you being more active with studying and trying to pass all 4 sections. I am good with all Roger MCQs without problems. Just only REG that I used ninja audio and Wiley MCQ.

I have felt so far that Roger's IPQs are more than adequate, they are at the same level as or even harder than the actual exam scores. It all depends on your learning style, for me though roger has been a great fit, have yet to not pass an exam and am thankful i made the investment.

Just my two cents. I was able to pass FAR using the Ninja 10-point combo. I walked out of the testing center thinking I had failed and since it was 2017 Q2 and a long waiting period for score release, I bought all four sections of Roger using a discount code and started studying for BEC. All of the review companies provide the information needed to pass, but different companies have different teaching styles and benefits/drawbacks. If you know for sure Roger is the right style for you for all four sections then go for it, otherwise I would purchase each section independently. No matter which program you use, keep with it and you will pass, good luck!

I bought four sections separately and I am glad I did that because I couldn't finish study all four sections in 18 month.
It depends on how much time you have and how long you are going to study.
By the way, now Roger CPA has unlimited time limit on Elite package.

Do you all feel that the Rogers Sims are comparable to those we see in the exams? I’m specifically looking for more practice on the new DRS sims….

@Dying I found that Roger's sims were a bit harder than the exam when I took FAR. I preferred to practice with Ninja's sims, even though they were almost too easy, they really helped me learn the concepts–for me, Roger's were sometimes so complex that I would just give up, and then the explanation of the solution was hard to get through. Ninja's solutions/explanations were better, but they don't have DRS sims. I thought the exam sims fell somewhere in between the two in terms of difficulty.
