I e-mailed Jeff about this and never got a response, so I’m hoping someone on the forum can help me.

I bought the NINJA notes for FAR but never used them. It wasn’t because of a deficiency with the product – I just learn best by taking and reviewing my own notes versus rewriting notes originally written by someone else. I know lots of people have rewritten the NINJA notes and have passed, but that just doesn’t work for me.

So, I am wondering if the Audit NINJA notes have any “extra” info in them that I won’t find in the Wiley book such as tips to memorize the reports, etc.? I will definitely purchase the notes if there is added value for me, but I don’t want to spend money on notes that I can take myself from the Wiley book.

It's takes a 500+ page text and consolidates it into a useful 100 page summary of key concepts. Useful for review, on the go studying, etc. I'd say it's worth it.

The re-write is nice if you can fit it in but not a huge deal if you can't. The notes will especially help you on IT.

I purchased the notes for 2 sections and those have been the 2 I have passed the first time through. Never did I rewrite them. They are great for review especially in the hours leading up to a 12:30 exam. I have already purchased the FAR notes and will be purchasing REG in the near future.

I didn't rewrite any of them, but I did use the PDF copies at work. I'd have them open in the background while working and review a few pages whenever I had 5 minutes here and there. It came in handy 🙂

I bought them after I failed AUD twice (oh but hindsight is 20/20) and rewrote them 3 times. I shot for rewriting 9 pages per day and I almost always hit that many. I give the ninja notes all the credit for passing the 3rd time.

@mla – I have Audit 2 weeks from today. Do you think I should focus more on rewriting notes or drilling out MCQ's at this point? I have done all the MCQ's in the Wiley test bank and the MCQ's and SIMS Yaeger recommends in the Wiley book. Thanks!
