I take REG on April 2nd. (14 days!) I’ve already done all my Yaeger lectures, and I’m currently going through Wiley MCQ like a mad woman and taking notes as I go. In a few days I plan to rewrite all my notes to leave me with about a week for straight MCQ review before the exam. Right now I’m only at about 60% proficiency on MCQs. 🙁

Would getting the Ninja notes for REG at this point in time even help? I noticed that they were over 100 pages and I can’t really picture how I would go about incorporating those into my 2 week crunch time.

If enough people can convince me that they would probably be beneficial, even though I would only have less than 2 weeks to use them, I’m for sure buying asap. However if not- I may just hold off for this section. Your input is appreciated!!!

I haven't taken REG yet, but I used the NINJA notes during my final review for both FAR and AUD. I also read them the morning before the exam. I didn't use them at all during my regular studying, but they were invaluable as a final review tool.

So can you tell me- when did you use them for review other than the morning before the exam? My test is at noon, so I will for sure be reviewing first thing that morning. I wouldn't imagine only using them then though… or is that what you did?

I did an intense final review right before the exam (4 days of all day studying). The NINJA notes just kind of tie everything all together. There is also a B1G1 free sale going on now. I just bought the BEC ones and got the REG notes free 🙂 Another thing I liked about them is they offer a different viewpoint on various topics. So if didn't quite understand something the way they did it in the Wiley book, I could usually get a different (and easier to understand) explanation from the notes.

If you don't think you will have time to re-write the NINJA notes then you should at least read them. Jeff also has the Audio for taxation that is a LIFESAVER. All of those little points that I could never grasp before are making sense to me now that I have listened to them twice. I don't have a long commute but if you did you could listen to them in your car or do like I do and listen to them while you wash dishes! I highly recommend them. I HATE REG with a passion because a huge chunk of it doesn't apply to my state, Louisiana is the only state that hasn't adopted the UCC so I've had to learn Sales and Commercial transactions from scratch. That part I am understanding better but the taxes just drove me nuts. Thanks to Jeff, I even did my own taxes this year and my boss, who reviewed them with a fine tooth comb, said I did an excellent job! I credit Jeff with that refund I am getting!!! Good Luck!

I rewrote the NINJA notes for both REG and Audit. For FAR, I ran out of time. As you see on my signature, how the NINJA notes helped me. Right now I'm preparing for BEC and rewriting the NINJA notes as we speak.

Ya, I did notice that there is a bundle deal. April 2nd is a Monday and I plan to do very intense on Sat and Sun right before test.. well in addition to what I'm already doing. 🙂 Thanks for your input!!

Oh geez, didn't see I received two other posts!

Thanks JoMarie and Kricket for your responses. I've already purchased Yaeger audio lecture and those are… very useless. Its pretty much like watching the videos all over again. I would purchase Jeff's lecture however considering the time/money issue… part of me says I might get better use out of the Ninja notes versus a lecture. What do you think?

Ninja notes for sure, I can remember on the last three tests I've taken sitting at a question and think back to where I read through it on the Ninja notes and helped me out.
